Heritage Days in : escape game, visits, in the shoes of a magistrate of the Court of Auditors and harpsichord in the spotlight

New events on the program for this edition of the European Heritage Days this Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22.

New features have been added to the many animations and they are rather unusual.

Regional Court of Auditors: in the shoes of a magistrate

This is one of the curiosities and novelties of this 41st edition of these European Heritage Days. The Regional Chamber of Accounts opens its doors to the general public. If the site, recently built, does not make you dream at first glance, the financial jurisdiction is, on the other hand, the heir to a very long history in .

It is its history and that of the contributions of this jurisdiction to the heritage of the inhabitants of the metropolis of Montpellier that all the staff have chosen to show and tell you on this occasion.

Four activities are planned: an escape game to uncover the secrets of financial magistrate control; visits and activities around the theme “In the shoes of magistrates and auditors”, a historical walk to follow in the footsteps of financial magistrates from the 17th and 18th centuries and a photo exhibition “From the 16th to the 21st centuries, the faces of a financial jurisdiction”.

All the activities offered are free. Remember to register and bring an ID to access the Chamber at 500, avenue des États du Languedoc, in Montpellier. Information and registration: on the website or at 04 34 22 74 26.
