Accident in Allainville: 93-year-old woman killed in a head-on collision

Two light vehicles collided head-on near Allainville on the D4. Traffic was diverted. One of the people seriously injured died.

A car accident occurred on Tuesday, September 17, in Allainville, on the D4 road. Two vehicles collided head-on. One of the cars was coming from Boissy-en-Drouais and was heading towards Laons while the other was heading towards Vernouillet.

The Eure-et-Loir Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis 28) initially reported three people seriously injured. But, finally, it was learned around 8:30 p.m. that one of the passengers, aged 93, had died.

The two other injured people, a 37-year-old man who was seriously injured and another 61-year-old who was more lightly injured, were taken to hospital.

Traffic is interrupted on the D4

Twenty-two firefighters from the Dreux, Saint-Rémy-sur-Avre and Bû fire stations were mobilized to respond to this collision and no fewer than seven vehicles were deployed. Traffic is interrupted. Emergency services and gendarmes from the Dreux company have organized a diversion.

Around 8:30 p.m., the device was lifted and traffic resumed as normal.
