The competition dedicated to professionals and students in hospitality will extend over a course of almost 4.8 kilometers. All participants will receive a reward at the end of the walk.

The waiters' march, organized by the Union of Trades and Industries of the Hotel Industry of Calaisis (UMIH), is back for a 31st edition.

It is mainly open to professionals with three categories: seniors, veterans and women. Hotel schools are also welcome. In Calais, students from the Détroit and Saint-Pierre high schools will participate. Those from the Ile Jeanty high school in will also compete.

The start will be at 3:30 p.m. in the city center.

This competition is a walk. Therefore, running is prohibited.

Participants will receive a reward upon arrival.

Musical entertainment will be provided throughout the course.

Registration is open. To participate in the waiters' march, simply contact Marc Lavoisier by phone at 06 78 55 43 25. It is also possible to register on site on the day of the event from 2:00 p.m. The cost is 5 euros. And it's free for hotel school students.

The march will take place on the sidewalks, so traffic will not be disrupted.
