The group stage is over, now there is a single pool! This is the biggest change in this new formula… This mini championship will take place from September to January… one month later than the previous editions.
Each of the 32 clubs will play 8 matches against 8 different opponents: 4 home matches and 4 away matches. Each team will face two teams from its own pot, and two teams from each of the other pots.
The ranking will be complete and will determine who will be the first 8 qualified for the knockout phase. For the clubs ranked from 9th to 24th place, they will have to go through qualifying play-offs in two-legged matches to reach the round of 16.
As for the teams placed after 24th place, they will be eliminated, without the possibility of a repechage in the Europa League.

Then comes the knockout phase starting from the round of 16. The top 8 teams from the regular season will be considered seeded.
For the moment, no change for the rest of the competition, we are sticking to the usual format with quarters and semis that will also be played in two-way matches. Finally, to conclude this 70th edition, the final will be played on May 31, 2025, at the Allianz Arena in Munich!
