Then he gave his project for the Girondins of Bordeaux :
“The project is simple. We are starting from a blank sheet of paper in terms of sport. I am only talking about myself. Of course, I have followed the progress of the Girondins in recent seasons. I have even followed it through intermediary teams since I was in Ligue 1 and I came here with Troyes, the year you were relegated and I stayed up. So I have followed this progress. I am arriving here starting from a blank sheet of paper since, in fact, the professional status has been abandoned so there are no more players. The goal is to rebuild. I like rebuilding. I arrived, I was contacted by John Williams who takes care of all the sporting aspects in terms of recruitment. So rebuilding from not much in terms of players, but from a lot when you know the Girondins de Bordeaux club. This is the challenge that was my priority in accepting this project.”
