He had created the YouTube channel “Le billet auto”. Videographer Jean-Baptiste Dessort died on Saturday evening in a road accident in Gironde. He was 37 years old.
His passion cost him his life. While driving a Tesla Model S Plaid that he was testing on Saturday June 24 in Val-de-Virvée, near Bordeaux, youtubeur Jean-Baptiste Dessort, star of the channel “Le auto ticket”, died after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a tree.
According to information revealed by Numerama, the lifeless body of the 37-year-old videographer was found by the emergency services, around 11:45 p.m., a few meters from his car which had caught fire.
Since the creation of his channel “Le billet auto” eleven years ago, followed today by nearly 60,000 car enthusiasts, Jean-Baptiste Dessort had recorded more than 840 videos. His disappearance sparked a wave of emotion on social networks.
