In a remarkable reversal of the situation compared to the previous year, Jannik Sinner solidified his status among the elite of by successfully defending his title to the Australian Open. The 23 -year -old young Italian, formerly considered as a promising talent without his active victory to his credit, now displays three Grand Slam titles – two to the Australian Open and one at the US Open – and was established as A dominant force in male tennis since its ascent in the world classification in first place last June.

In the final, Sinner showed his mastery against Alexander Zverev, winning an overwhelming victory without ever facing a break ball. This feat only marks the fourth time in the past 35 years that a male player has won a Title du Grand Chelem in such a convincing way, illustrating the growing domination of Sinner on the circuit, even if he has not reached the heights of his best performances during the match.

The International Tennis Integrity Agency judged in August that it had no fault in this case, but the World Anti -Doping Agency appealed to the Sports Arbitral Tribunal. A hearing is scheduled to start on April 16.

This situation is still evolving, and other updates will follow.
