Cameroon’s political situation
With the temptations of violence and the promises of disorder
The first responsibility of those who are respected and audible is to appease, calm and advocate patience, wisdom and humility, because nothing or any frustration, will justify switching in the unknown With all the implications for our mental health and our collective balance as a nation.
It is the mediator who expresses himself here, and it is precisely a citizen far from being ordinary, because at the crossroads of the many and tenacious dailys of the daily life of our compatriots, some of whom have definitively opted for silence, to Force of uncertainties, vexations, expectations, humiliations and deprivation.
It is the reshuffle that does not come, these are baseless cancellations of land titles which also lead to the Minister of Domains, Land Affairs and the Cadastre Public Enemy N ° 1 in the country, these are Unpaid market invoices, these are infinite corruption acts, they are blocked, brake or hidden files in drawers, they are rigged competitions and exams, these are questionable promotions or court decisions completely The reverse of the truth is a manhandled and poorly supervised diaspora, little encouraged to return to work and invest in native land.
All of this is getting worse with unsatisfied hopes and requests. The government’s reshuffle, the presidential grace, the return of the remains of the first president of the country and his wife, the improvement of the interurban road axes. Why our airports lack plane, to the point that we are almost ashamed by disembarking or taking off from Douala or Yaoundé at 8am, while elsewhere, right next door, Malabo or Libreville, it is the crowds of aircraft?
Do not understand, not to give consideration to all these observations and concerns of the compatriots, would be caused even more wrong to our country, betray the spirits and unjustly vilify honest people in a sort of behavior of irresponsible parents who at each complaint Kids, brandished the whip.
-Struggles of the clans, rumors or wishes of coup d’etat and others, should not impress us, worry to the point of plunging some in sordid and morbid delusions. Admittedly, the issues of the transition to the summary, as well as the questions and assumptions on the electoral deadlines, are legitimate, but it should not be made a hunting board before the logic of the truth, the relations of the forces and the achievements of realities of our country.
The moments are really difficult, but evacuate the shouts, save you with gossip and stay focused on daily needs and requirements. Each country, each nation, each people has traditions, identity marks as well as secrets that make and defeat the march of their destiny. THE Cameroon is no exception, and nothing that we are targeting and knowing, is unique or extraordinary in the long, rich, complex and instructive history of humanity.
Fleeing abroad is nothing at all, just like preaching revenge or hatred and implications. The justice of men can fail, but that of God never fails and admits no anticipation or precipitation. We will get out of it, we nevertheless move forward, despite inertia, despite deprivation and frustrations. Rocambochian trials on major embezzlement files are certainly waiting in the drawers, but is that the reason to set fire?
The first of governments is family and families, individual and in individual behavior. It is also by that that we must already consider reshuffle. Being too in a hurry or too radical, too polarized or too irreconcuous, leads to failure and marginalization. History testifies to the first people who have become of the last, or populists who have become failures or even enemies of those for whom they believed or wanted to fight.
