Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday January 24 that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin was looking for “manipulate” Donald Trump concerning his desire to negotiate with the United States on the war in Ukraine.
“He wants to manipulate the desire of the President of the United States of America to achieve peace”said Volodymyr Zelensky in his daily message on social networks, adding to being “Convinced that no Russian manipulation can now succeed.”
Earlier in the day, the Kremlin assured that the Russian president Vladimir Poutine was “ready” to speak to Donald Trump of the war in Ukraine, but was waiting “signals” de Washington. “Everyone is ready”, said spokesman for the Russian presidency Dmitri Peskov to journalists.
