The names of the four Israeli soldiers to be released on Saturday in Gaza were revealed on Friday evening by Hamas and the hostage families forum.
The forum “is delighted with the expected release of Daniella Gilboa, Karina Ariev, Liri Albag and Naama Levy after 477 days of captivity,” he said in a statement, citing the names of four soldiers assigned to the surveillance of the Gaza strip and removed on October 7, 2023 during the attack on Hamas commandos in the south of the country. “An entire nation fought for them and anxiously awaits their long -awaited return to the arms of their families,” added the text.
The four names had previously been given on Télégram by Abu Obeida, spokesperson for the armed branch of the movement, the Ezzedine al-Qassam brigades and a real star with supporters of Hamas.

The office of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had confirmed that he had received a list, which remained unpublished until the families were informed.
The number of Palestinian prisoners who must be released Saturday in exchange for hostages, in accordance with the current cease-fire agreement in Gaza, has not been revealed. But the Israeli penitentiary services said they received a list, adding that some would be brought back to the Gaza Strip, others in the West Bank.
“The al-Qassam brigades and other groups (…) will release the four prisoners on Saturday” and entrust them to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), a source close to Hamas told AFP under the cover of the ‘Anonymity, without time precision.
These releases, which could take place from the morning on Saturday, intervene as part of the truce entered into force last Sunday, the first phase of which is due to last six weeks. It is supposed to allow the release of 33 hostages against some 1,904 Palestinian prisoners.
Three young women who have already been released last weekend, in exchange for the 90 Palestinian prison release, there will then still remain 26 hostages to be released on this first phase. The names were communicated but without a liberation order.
The attack on Hamas on October 7, 2023 led to the death of 1,210 people on the Israeli side, mostly civilians, according to an AFP count based on official data. Out of 251 people then removed, 91 are still in Gaza, including 34 dead according to the army.
-Others have been announced dead by Hamas but without Israeli confirmation, plunging families into excruciating doubt.
In retaliation in October 7, Israel launched a devastating offensive in the Gaza Strip, which left at least 47,283 dead, mostly civilians, according to data from the Ministry of Health of Hamas-an unspeakable assessment.
The truce has been generally respected since Sunday, excluding some incidents. According to the agreement, the displaced “in the south of the Gaza Strip will begin to return north” on Saturday, said the head of Hamas. “An Egypto-Qatari committee will oversee the implementation of the agreement on the ground”.
