11h49. Paul Meilhat’s arrival took place in even more difficult sea conditions than for Jérémie Beyou: between 22 and 25 knots of wind, gusts of around 30 knots and waves of 2.5 to 3 meters deep. He had to cross the storm line, set up further offshore, a mandatory gate which turns into a finish line when the weather conditions require it.
“Larger and located further offshore, it guarantees more safety when the weather is unfavorable,” specify the organizers.
11h45. The finish line was crossed by Paul Meilhat at 11:40 a.m. after 74 days, 22h 38m and 15s spent at sea.

11:40 a.m. The weather conditions are tough today in Les Sables. Beyou’s arrival last night took place with dips of 2 meters on the line and nearly 25 knots of wind. They became even stronger for the arrival of Paul Meilhat who had to face dips of 2.5 to 3m and wind gusts of around 30 knots.
