A terrible accident occurred this Thursday, January 23, on the A30, in the Longwy-Metz direction. Around 12:50 p.m., a vehicle coming the wrong way collided with a van, which was traveling on the right side.
The impact was violent and the driver of the van died. The driver of the wrong-way car was seriously injured. A third person, who was traveling behind the van, was also injured: he wanted to avoid the collision and hit the guardrail.
A helicopter from the Nancy CHRU should arrive on the scene within a few minutes. On site, police officers, Smur de Mont-Saint-Martin and Bel-Air, firefighters and highway CRS are present.
The A30 is closed in the Longwy-Metz direction, traffic is diverted to Boulange. The highway should also be blocked in the other direction, while the helicopter takes off and takes off.
