This Monday, Donald Trump was officially inaugurated for a second term as President of the United States.
If he will soon be talked about for quite a few reasons, sport is not particularly one. But the man who will lead one of the greatest nations for the next four years has often shown himself in sporting events.

Across the Atlantic there are some that are particularly popular. Soccer is starting to make a name for itself and the World Cup which will partly take place in the USA in 2026 should obviously give an additional spotlight.

When asked the question during his first term, the president replied: “I have a friend who owns Manchester United.” This friend is obviously Edward Glazer, the son of Malcolm Glazer, who is the majority shareholder of the Red Devils, even if he sold 25 of the 68 percent of his shares to the British businessman Jim Ratcliffe .
