On this morning of January 22, the Côte-d’Or was, for once, placed on snow-ice yellow vigilance by Météo France. And, this morning, the departmental council once again warned of degraded traffic conditions on a certain number of roads.
Like yesterday, the departmental council considers traffic to be delicate on the A38 in Pouilly-en-Auxois and Plombière-lès-Dijon.
On the other hand, the area affected locally by the ice is not quite the same as Tuesday 21. While yesterday, it was mainly the south of the department which was affected, this morning, the ice is rather to the east, over a large area going from the Saône plain to Tille-Vingeanne.
The entire east of the affected department
The main axes affected are RD960 between Bèze and Fontaine-Française, the RD959 between Lux and Mirebeau-sur-Bèze, the RD70 between Arc-sur-Tille and Mirebeau-sur-Bèze, the RD961 between Saint-Apollinaire and Vonges, the RD976 between Pontailler-sur-Saône and Talmay then between Villers-les-Pots and Vonges, the RD905 between Fauverney and Soirans, the RD968 between Thorey-en-Plaine and Saint-Usage, the RD976 between Seurre and Losne or the RD973 between Beaune and Trugny.
Secondary roads are also likely to be icy throughout the eastern part of the department. If you must travel in the area this morning, exercise caution.
-Other routes should also be avoided, mainly to the west of Nuits-Saint-Georges, around Arcenant and Villers-la-Faye.
Note that the yellow alert from Météo France is valid until the beginning of the afternoon.
Warm weather starting tomorrow
After several mornings marked by the presence of black ice and freezing mist, the next few days should be more pleasant, with a mild spell forecast from this afternoon and higher morning temperatures until the end of the week.
