The conditions of access to the My Psy Support system have evolved. To benefit from the 12 reimbursed annual sessions – with a partner psychologist, and up to 50 euros per session – it is no longer necessary to have a prescription from the attending physician. Direct access is possible.
For anyone experiencing “mild to moderate intensity” mental suffering
Anyone over the age of 3 experiencing mental suffering of mild to moderate intensity can benefit from this psychological support.
If you feel distressed, anxious, depressed, stressed, if you have trouble sleeping, or your loved ones are worried, if you consume tobacco, alcohol or cannabis (excluding addiction), or if you suffer from behavioral disorders food (without severity criteria), you can benefit from psychological support by making an appointment directly with a partner psychologist.
He will bill the sessions at the rates set by Health Insurance and will not be able to charge excess fees.
Follow-up sessions are possible by video transmission but the first evaluation interview session is carried out in person. You can change partner psychologists along the way. Of course, it is always possible to consult a doctor, a midwife or a member of the school medical staff beforehand.
Pay for the consultation and then get reimbursed by Health Insurance
Coverage is distributed as follows among the different organizations: 60% by Social Security and 40% by mutual/complementary health insurance.
If you do not advance the costs due to care related to illness, maternity or work accidents and occupational diseases, you must bring your up-to-date paper certificate of rights or any accompanying letter from your doctor or from your midwife.
If you do not meet these three cases of exemption from advance fees, you must pay for the session and, after the appointment, send the treatment sheet given by the psychologist to your Health Insurance organization.
Who is not concerned by “My psychological support”?
For adults, the “My psych support” system is not intended for people who immediately require specialist advice from a psychiatrist or who are currently receiving treatment. Particularly in the event of
-- suicidal risks;
- severe anxiety or depressive disorders;
- serious eating disorders;
- severe neurodevelopmental disorders;
- dependence on psychoactive substances;
- severe psychiatric history over the last three years.
It also excludes patients on ALD or disability for psychiatric reasons, as well as those on sick leave for more than six months for psychiatric reasons (including in the previous two years).
On the children’s side, the system is aimed at children and adolescents aged 3 to 17 inclusive who present a situation of discomfort or psychological suffering of mild to moderate intensity, which may cause concern among those around them (family, school environment). , doctor, etc.).
However, it is not intended for children under 3 years old or for children and adolescents who immediately require specialist advice, such as a psychiatrist or child psychiatrist.
The cases of exclusion from the system are the same as for adults in addition to severe behavioral problems (repeated school exclusions, major impact on schooling, family life or learning, aggressive behavior leading to arrest or conviction) and situations of withdrawal or major inhibition.
The system also does not concern children and adolescents already treated in child psychiatry, psychiatry or long-term illness (ALD) for psychiatric reasons, including in the previous two years. Nor those followed for neurodevelopmental disorders.
Please note: students can also benefit from 12 free sessions with a psychologist as part of the Student Psy Health system. They are cumulative with the My Psychological Support sessions.
