Inter are back in Serie A action on Sunday night as they look to close the gap on Napoli at the top of the table in their home game against Empoli at San Siro.
Simone Inzaghi has some selection headaches to deal with. Pre-match reports suggest that Benjamin Pavard is likely to return to the back three alongside Stefan De Vrij, but some media outlets claim that Carlos Augusto should start ahead of Alessandro Bastoni on the left of the three.
Hakan Calhanoglu is still unavailable, and while Henrikh Mkitaryan is expected to return to the team, it might still be too early to see him in the starting lineup, which likely means a midfield of Nicolo Barella, Kristjan Asllani again and Piotr Zielinski. .
Lautaro Martinez should keep his place up front, but Mehdi Taremi could try his luck in place of Marcus Thuram alongside him.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. GMT.
