Unfortunately for the former, if they won at home against Maniema Union (1-0) thanks to a penalty goal in a match poor in goals but very lively, the Mamelodi scratched a draw on its lawn against Rabat (1-1), thus preventing 100% Moroccan qualifications in group B.
The fact remains that the South Africans still experienced a little heat with the opponent’s equalizer in the last 10 minutes of the match, the end of the scenario could have been written differently. As for the Congolese Maniema, beaten by Raja, it is a very sad result at the end of the six matches of this group phase, with no victory on the clock and only three small points.
