Ten days ago, on the night of January 7 to 8, Los Angeles suffered a sad fate. Violent fires broke out in the Californian city and ravaged several places. Blame it on violent winds of 160 km/h and persistent drought, which displaced the embers and left behind scenes of desolation. Faced with the urgency of this situation, tens of thousands of residents have had to abandon their homes. It is between these walls that we healed our wounds, that we learned to live with absence, to rebuild days lit by love despite the shadow of loss […] I feel like I’ve lost a part of my soul, as if a part of me had gone away with the flames. The sorrow is endless“.
