CAIRO (Reuters) – Hamas on Sunday published the names of three Israeli hostages to be released on the first day of the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, a spokesman for the branch said army of the Palestinian movement in a message on Telegram.
Mediators, for their part, told Israel that they had received the names of the hostages who were to be released this Sunday, but according to them the list is not yet in the hands of the Jewish state, close sources told Reuters of the file.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu previously said the ceasefire, due to come into effect at 0630 GMT, would not begin until Israel received the names of the hostages.
