Collins whistled for entering court against Keys

Danielle Collins made a name for herself at this Australian Open. Known for her outspokenness, the American was in a quiet mood during her previous round.

Opposed to the local Destanee Aiava, Collins, 11th player in the world, celebrated her victory by provoking the public, she who had had tensions with certain spectators during the match.

Booed during the handshake and her post-match speech on the court, the winner of the Masters 1000 in Miami last year had fun with this event at a press conference, ensuring that people who did not didn’t like but who came to see her paid her bills.

Two days later, Collins once again took to the court, this time at Rod Laver Arena, to face teammate Madison Keys in the third round.

But when the announcer announced Collins’ name, everyone in the audience booed the 31-year-old.

The latter couldn’t help but smile ironically as she returned to her chair when she entered the court.
