Emergency accommodation

The house ravaged by the flames was located in a block of three homes. Those on the right were affected by the flames, the roof was largely burned. “The accommodation is uninhabitable”underlines the president of the CPAS. “They were offered emergency help. Often, in such cases, the first night is spent with the family.” And that’s what happened to this family made up of a couple and two children, they spent the night at their parents’ house.

Ensuite? “Last night, it was mostly emotion. Today, Friday, with a clear head, they will study with their insurance and an expert. Perhaps they will have an emergency solution that way.” The CPAS, in any case, has emergency accommodation to offer them. “We have several but one is free. We will see with the family the solution that suits them best. We don’t impose anything, we propose.” Arnaud Massin has seen requests for help on Facebook, but “We’re just asking to let us work for a few hours, then we’ll take stock.”

And the third house, the one on the left? She was not affected by the flames. The police, on site last night, asked its occupant to spend the night elsewhere, “he went to his family”continues Arnaud Massin. He could return home this Friday.

Note that the body of the lady has still not been found in the burned house this Friday, January 17 shortly after 10:30 a.m.
