The 11th edition of the Sports Trophies will be held on Tuesday January 21, 2025 at the Grand Théâtre de la Maison de la Culture. The event, broadcast live on Polynésie la 1ère, will honor the greatest fenua athletes. This year, 6 exceptional athletes compete to win the coveted title, and the public is invited to choose their favorite athlete.
Votes to elect the public’s favorite athlete are already open and will continue until January 21, 2025 at 8:15 p.m. A draw among participants will allow you to win an SUV, an exceptional gift to reward participation in this unique moment of Polynesian sport.
The trophies will be awarded by a jury made up of five sports journalists: Maruki Dury, Wendy Cowan, Tane Teanini, Waldemar De Laage and Simoné Forges Davanzati. This jury will decide the winners for a total of 16 trophies, covering different categories of local sport. At the same time, the public prize will be awarded based on SMS votes, thus giving an essential place to public engagement in this celebration of Polynesian sport.
