A major gas leak led to the Genas road being cut off this Tuesday, January 14, shortly after 3 p.m., on the border of (3rd) and . The leak occurred on a public works site, near number 18 and rue Feuillat where a construction machine damaged a pipe. A major rescue system was put in place, mobilizing twenty-six firefighters and nine engines, as well as a police emergency crew and the municipal police, who established a security perimeter by blocking the roads.

Twenty-three people, present in three establishments close to the leak, were evacuated and the other local residents were confined. Around 4:15 p.m., GrDF technicians were still working to plug the leak.
