While the little Australian runner was initially excluded from the Tour Down Underwhere he nevertheless has nine stage victories, he was then completely removed from the list of riders making up the team Jayco-AlUla published on its website. Without official communication from the team or from Caleb Ewanthe most total vagueness reigns over its future. While it now appears obvious that the two parties will end their collaboration after a single season with mixed results (only three victories), will the sprinter manage to find a team? Or is he heading towards a premature end to his career at just 30 years old?

His agent rules out the possibility of retirement
Contacted by Daniel Bensonthe rider’s agent strongly denied the possibility of retirement. All that remains now is to find a new base for his foal. Something which will not be easy, because despite the obvious qualities of the pocket sprinter, most of the teams have already completed their squads for 2025 and given the status of Caleb Ewanhis recruitment will necessarily have an impact on the salary budget of the team which will welcome him. Especially since he is losing momentum with only one victory at WorldTour level over the last three seasons. However, some teams that do not have a world-class sprinter in their squad could take the gamble of relaunching him. That’s all we wish for him!
