Invasion of Ukraine – Germany delivers new howitzers to Ukraine

These weapon systems, mounted on armored vehicle chassis, are produced by KNDS, a company resulting from the merger between Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) and the French company Nexter. They allow, among other things, to fire while driving. Artillery can be controlled remotely and from outside the vehicle. The RCH 155 requires two soldiers.

In total, Germany will deliver 54 models to Ukraine. The first six to leave the factory will remain on German soil while training Ukrainian soldiers in their use.
