The smartphone of maturity for Google
With the Pixel 9 Pro, Google has taken a giant step forward on several levels. Everything – especially its dimensions – offers a very pleasant grip, especially for small hands. In terms of pure performance, the Pixel 9 Pro features Google’s latest in-house processor, Tensor G4. Less powerful than the competition, the latter still delivers thanks to careful software optimization of which the American giant has the secret. And this was necessary since AI is included in this phone – even if several artificial intelligence features are not yet available with us. In all cases, the user experience is optimal for everyday tasks, helped by a cleverly designed customizable interface, although sober and refined, but the device falls a little short of the competition when it comes to tasks. which require more power.
The king of photography and increased autonomy
The Google Pixel 9 Pro reinforces its reputation as a leader in photography with its advanced camera system. The 50 MP main sensor is accompanied by an improved ultra-wide-angle and a periscopic telephoto lens capable of zooming up to 10x without loss of quality. And as if that wasn’t enough, the software part takes care of enhancing already high quality photos, to the point of overusing them. Because yes, photo processing aided by artificial intelligence is activated by default and tends to distort reality. And yet, the Pixel 9 Pro didn’t necessarily need this as it is a masterclass in photography. And the video part is not left out with equally interesting functions.
Finally, in terms of autonomy, the Pixel 9 Pro holds up well since it easily lasts a day and a half. A big step forward compared to its predecessor which struggled to get through the day, forcing owners to stay next to a power outlet. If its battery doesn’t revolutionize the market, that’s completely honest. On the other hand, when it comes to charging, Google still needs to make progress because the competition is doing much better.
