The 63-year-old man found lifeless in a home in Saint-Thuribe, in Portneuf, was indeed the victim of a murder on Tuesday.

This was confirmed by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) on Wednesday morning, the day after the tragedy.
Remember that the inanimate victim, originally from the region, was found in a residence on Principale Street, not far from the church and the post office.

It was a call made to 911, around 11 a.m., which led to the police deployment in the area. The death could only be noted on the spot, while the causes of death have still not been revealed.
There has still been no arrest in this case. Witnesses must be met during the day, indicates Audrey-Ann Bilodeau, spokesperson for the SQ.

Tuesday evening, the neighbors were particularly stingy with their comments, remaining cautious in view of the circumstances.
