Ultrahuman has just unveiled Rare, a high-end connected ring made from precious metals. Its design and colors were inspired by the desert. This connected accessory is positioned as a rival of choice against the Samsung Galaxy Ring.
Ultrahuman has raised the level of its connected ring with its new Rare models. These models were presented this week at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. Certainly, it is considered a serious rival to the Galaxy Ring, its owners benefit from exclusive premium benefits which add a touch of elegance to the experience.
Ultrahuman Rare? Luxury connected rings in gold and platinum
The new Rare connected ring is much more than just a connected ring. It stands out by its luxurious finishes.
Furthermore, it is available in three distinct models. Buyers have a choice between the model “The Dune”, in 18 carat gold with a brushed surface and the “Desert Rose”, in 18k rose gold, also features a subtly brushed finish.
The range is completed by « la Desert Snow », made of PT950 platinum, which bears a hallmark attesting to its purity. According to Ultrahuman, the design of this ring captures the shine of snow under the sun, thanks to fine, luminous elements that reflect light.
These prestigious materials were chosen specifically for their durability and popularity in wedding rings. This also confirms the brand’s commitment to luxury. Each Rare model is hand made. They use sophisticated metalworking techniquesrequiring meticulous know-how and special care.
Ultrahuman Rare rings stand out not only for their materials and design, but also for exclusive services that they offer. In fact, each model comes with a lifetime subscription to UltrahumanX.
This is a paid service including a series of protection. It covers owners against accidental damage and against theft and loss. The service also includes trade-in options, priority support and the possibility of changing the size of the ring if necessary.
Additionally, Rare ring owners benefit from all the paid “PowerPlugs” extras. What exactly is it? It is a service that covers both existing and future versions.
This service pack is all the more appreciated as the technology embedded in these rings is identical to that of the Ultrahuman Ring Air. The latter embeds motion, skin temperature and heart rate sensors.
I think this justifies their high price, since these rings are available between £1,500 and £1,800 (around $1,865 to $2,250), depending on the model. Exact US pricing will be announced at launch, but Ultrahuman Rare rings will be available in the United Kingdom and France from mid-January.
