A residential building suddenly collapsed this Tuesday, January 7 in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine) on rue Darcel. The provisional report shows one person in absolute emergency and three people in relative emergency.

A house collapsed this Tuesday, January 7, rue Darcel in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), BFMTV learned from the fire brigade (BSPP).

Emergency intervention was called at 9:15 a.m. for this two-story pavilion currently being renovated.

Workers were on site at the time of the collapse. According to a report communicated during the day by the firefighters, seven people were injured, including three in absolute emergency, three workers in a state of shock and a firefighter slightly injured.

A worker pulled out of the rubble

An architect is among the injured. Two workers who were trapped under the rubble and another in a basement were able to be pulled out by emergency services.

“It made noise, I didn’t open my window because there was dust. I heard cries, ‘help’. I hope I never see that again in my life,” confides a local resident .

Forty-four firefighters were engaged aboard eleven engines, which carried out the three rescues. Only one tower of the building was still standing during the day on Tuesday.
