a new concept of gaming chair that rings hot and cold

Razer is unveiling a new original concept for the start of 2025: a gaming chair that allows you to heat or cool your body while gaming thanks to a silent and modular ventilation system.

Razer

Every year, Razer takes advantage of major tech shows like CES or Computex to present surprising and sometimes crazy new product concepts. Last year we were treated to the Razer Freyja (formerly Project Esther), the first haptic cushion to adapt to any gaming chair, a concept which finally saw the light of day commercially a few months ago.

This year, the manufacturer is thinking about your daily comfort with Razer Arielle, the first gaming chair equipped with a heating and cooling system for the user. Enough to adapt your gaming sessions to all climatic conditions.

Play at the right temperature with Razer

This concept is actually a system integrated directly into its premium gaming chair, the Razer Fujin Pro, which allows the user to choose the degree of ventilation to apply without the slightest hint. Razer promises here “ a continuous flow of air over the entire body, while minimizing noise pollution as much as possible ».

Arielle works using a pump located at the back of the seat which redistributes air throughout the structure. It is thus possible to choose two modes on demand, heating and cooling, with its ventilation system present in the contour of the backrest.

Thanks to a touch control panel present on the right of the support, it is possible to apply cooling between 2 and 5 degrees or heat up to 30 degrees.

In addition to comfort, one could imagine that such a system could be used for in-game immersion, particularly when the player crosses several biomes (snowy mountains, deserts) which could drastically change temperatures.

For the moment, Razer Arielle is only at the concept stage and will be presented at CES in Las Vegas which runs until January 9, 2024.
