INTERNATIONAL – It’s a statement in true Donald Trump style. The future American president announced that upon his return to the White House, the United States would change the name of the Gulf of Mexico, on the southern coast of the country, to “Gulf of America”.

“We’re going to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, which sounds good and covers a lot of territory. The Gulf of America, what a nice name »declared Donald Trump during a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida this Tuesday, January 7, before castigating Mexico which “must stop letting millions of people pour into our country”.
Furthermore, the Republican refuses to rule out a possible annexation by force of the Panama Canal and Greenland.
