If some didn’t dare too much, others had a blast. “At one euro or three euros a pair of pants, we’re not taking too much of a risk”points out Gilles from Fijaguet.
These day traders also took the opportunity to replenish their wardrobe, sometimes in spite of themselves. “It was very hard to put clothes on sale so we let ourselves be tempted by other purchases”slips Corinne. And compulsive purchases feel good even if Valérie was worried, seeing the stock of clothes, about consumption that was not always responsible.
