PSG has Ecuadorian defender Willian Pacho in its squad and presents itself as the big favorite for the title after winning Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France.
With a rivalry that has intensified over the past decade, Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco will face off this Sunday (11:30 a.m.) in Doha for the first title of the season in French football: the Trophée des Champions, commonly called the French Super Cup.
Monaco enters this match as runners-up from the last Ligue 1 season, since PSG won the two main national trophies, namely the league and the Coupe de France.
With Ecuadorian defender Willian Pacho as a key player, the Parisian team are clear favorites, currently occupying first place in Ligue 1, 10 points ahead of Monaco (3rd place). During a recent meeting between the two teams, on December 18, in the championship, the capital club won 4-2 in the Principality.

Monaco will enter the match somewhat weakened, missing several key players due to injuries, including defender Wilfried Singo (suspended), Christian Mawissa, as well as offensive players Folarin Balogun and Krepin Diatta.
