It’s a death that will forever remain a tragedy.. On October 16, Liam Payne tragically died at the age of 31 after falling from the balcony of his room located on the 3rd floor of the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires. A few hours before he died, the behavior of the former One Direction star had caused concern. So much so that the latter had contacted the emergency services to warn them that one of their customers had alarming behavior. “We have a client who is under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He is destroying everything in his room. We need you to send someone, please. Urgently, because his life could be in danger. He is in a room with a balcony, we fear he will put himself in danger.”they warned, in a recording that TMZ had obtained at the time.
When he arrived on the scene, Liam Payne had already taken action. The investigation, carried out by the Argentine authorities, revealed that the star had not intended to end his life. She had simply tried to get out of her room through the window, but, under the influence of a cocktail of drugs, he lost his footing and allegedly fell from the balcony.

On December 10, the magazine Rolling Stone revealed that two people would soon be questioned by the authorities. Among them, a waiter, named Braian Nahuel Paiz, whom prosecutors wanted to charge in connection with the death of Liam Payne. The latter had admitted to having used cocaine with the singer. “Braian says he saw drugs strewn everywhere… along with the Dove soap box and tinfoil that were seen in photos taken after Liam’s death”indicated the media which specified that the latter denied being responsible for his death and that he had not “did not bring the drugs back to his suite.”
