We remind you that all the lights are green to hire an ambitious public/private cooperation project with Fourmies hospital. Concretely, in 2030employees of both structures will keep their statuses and their benefits, but they will have to learn to work together, under one roofthrough a system that has already proven itself in Le Cateau.
So it is indeed the surgical department which should move in September 2030 to Fourmiesas part ofa medical project worth 32 million euros. The objective clearly stated by Régis Poison is to exceed in the medium term the 10,000 surgical procedures per yearby offering new specialties and the most comprehensive care offering, 24 hours a day, while supporting the emergency services, the SMUR and the Fourmisienne maternity ward!
As for the current polyclinic, it will not be razed, or even, perhaps, not sold… Negotiations have been initiated with the ARS, to offer it a new future!
