“He hit it at over 70 km/h.” A man is in police custody as part of an investigation into manslaughter aggravated by a hit-and-run after the death of a teenager hit by a car during New Year's Eve in Strasbourg. “My cousin fluttered”
The victim's cousin, present at the scene at the time of the incident, testified about RMC. After dropping the teenager off in the car, she said that a driver hit her while overtaking her: “He hit her at more than 70 km/h. My cousin spun. The driver of the other car did not even try to brake after the impact he continued to accelerate,” she recalled to our colleagues. “I was on the right, the driver passed me on the left. They were two men, a driver and a passenger.”
