“I’m devastated,” said Willie Green, the team’s head coach. “This is a senseless act of violence. We’ve briefly discussed this with our players, but we live in a time and a world where we don’t know where we are safe. Schools, churches, people should be able to go out, have fun and walk the streets. I can only imagine what these families are going through, what they will have to face for the rest of their lives. »
