Rogue Heroes: season 2 arrives this evening on CANAL+

A full cast and new faces

The heroes of the first season, Connor Swindells, Sofia Boutellaet Dominic Westreturn to their iconic roles, while this second season welcomes Gwilym Lee (The Great), in the shoes of Bill Stirling, the brother of David Stirling and founder of the 2SAS regiment. Also on display, Con O’Neill (Happy Valley) portrays a charismatic and uncompromising General Montgomery.

An achievement serving intensity

Under the direction of Stephen Woolfenden (Outlander), season 2 retains the raw and immersive aesthetic that had won over the public. The action sequences, more dynamic than ever, transport the viewer to the heart of European battles, where heroism and sacrifice mix with complex political and military intrigues.

Our opinion: a dose of action and memories

After the fighting in North Africa, Rogue Heroes settles down in Italy, where the SAS finds itself facing much more numerous enemies. The action is intense, and each mission shows as much their courage as their human flaws. Small downside: Connor Swindells is less present, while his charisma had marked the first season. Despite everything, fans will not be disappointed and will happily dive back into this series which remains captivating and full of twists and turns.
