The Acer Nitro V15 nevertheless starts at around 900 euros in Ryzen 5, 16 GB, RTX 4050 configuration. Intel versions (Core i5, i7 and i9 of 13e generation) finally exist, at prices ranging from around 800 euros to almost 1,600 euros.
Design: basic, solid, efficient?
This is not necessarily its primary objective, but with 36.2 x 23.9 x 2.3 centimeters and 2.1 kilos, the Acer Nitro V15 is reasonable in terms of measurements. It also uses a rather standard format for entry-level gamers, for example approaching the size adopted by the Victus 15 from HP. So no worries about transporting it and using it in class, or at work, even if the autonomy (in essence quite limited on this type of PC) still quickly proves restrictive for use on the move.
In terms of assembly and design, Acer also does not stand out with this new Nitro V15. The device sticks to a chassis that we already knew, but which has still clearly improved in construction quality compared to the first generations of Nitro devices (those who remember the first Nitro 5 know what we are talking). Here we are on a quality plastic fairing, well assembled and solidly constructed… even if the rigidity of the screen frame could be improved, and the lacquered plastic of the cover is sensitive to scratches and other fingerprints.
