On the territory of the Agen-Nérac gendarmerie company, 24 soldiers were mobilized between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. to ensure the safety of road users. In total, 240 vehicles and people were checked on different traffic routes. Thirteen offenses were recorded, including four drunken driving offenses, half of which were misdemeanor offenses, two drug driving offenses and one lack of insurance.
Concerning the territory of the Marmande gendarmerie company, 20 soldiers were engaged between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. to ensure the safety of road users. In total, 150 people were checked and screened on different traffic routes. Two offenses were noted: drunk driving and refusal to comply.
At the same time, in the Villeneuvois sector, out of 112 blood alcohol tests carried out, four turned out to be positive, including two at a criminal rate.
In total, 73 gendarmes were present on the road flows for New Year's Eve.
