An explosion taken very seriously. While the United States is still in shock from the deadly car-ramming attack that occurred on New Year’s Eve in New Orleans, an explosion occurred, again this Wednesday, in front of Trump Tower in Las Vegas .
An incident which left one person dead (the driver of the Tesla Cybertruck) and slightly injured seven people, in front of the entrance to the building belonging to the future American president Donald Trump, inaugurated on January 20.
According to the authorities, cited by local media, this explosion is considered a “possible terrorist act”. According to the incident described by Las Vegas police, the driver stopped in the valet area of the hotel and the vehicle suddenly exploded.
The challenge is to understand what caused this violent explosion: either a malfunction of the Tesla or explosive elements placed inside the Cybertruck. Quoted by ABC News, a local police official explains that the vehicle had a cargo of fireworks-type mortars on board.
The investigation is now focusing on the deceased driver to find out if it was an accident or if he intentionally triggered the explosion.
