An “abundant leakage of liquid”. The formation of a “dense cloud”. And, in the moments immediately preceding the explosion, a team of workers in white overalls at work on a forklift, near a pipe which, according to what was discovered by the Prato Prosecutor's Officenear two flanges (the mechanical pieces that join the ends of two pipes) “was without safety safety bolts”. The cause of the massacre which occurred in the Eni depot of Calenzanowhich caused 5 deaths on 9 December, could be contained in this very precious video, collected by the investigators, coordinated by the prosecutor Luca Tescaroli. Investigators recovered it from the system video surveillance of the plant, in a part that appeared to have been damaged by the flames. The film is the first real document which seems to shed light on the moments that preceded the explosion. They are filmed in the sequence the two fundamental steps which could explain what unleashed hell: lo spill of fuel and the formation of a cloud of petrol vapours; and the next triggerwhich would have caused the explosion.
