Netflix has announced the end of filming on season 5 of Stranger Things, the last of the series, by sharing new photos online.

Fans of the story set in Hawkins will still have to wait quite a long time, considering that the unreleased episodes do not yet have an expected release date during 2025.
The end of the Stranger Things cast and crew's work
Work on the set of the latest chapter of Stranger Things began on January 8, 2024, almost a year ago.
The shots shared from the set show the main protagonists, the Duffer brothers and the producer and director Shawn Levy during a few moments of pause between one take and another.

The cast of the show will also include new entries Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, Alex Breaux and Linda Hamilton, the star of Terminator.
The proposed story will make a time jump of over a year compared to where it left off, showing events taking place in the autumn of 1987.
The fourth season ended with Vecna, the villain played by Jamie Campbell Bower, who opened a passage between the various dimensions, thus allowing the Upside Down to have catastrophic consequences on the city of Hawkins.

Previews on the final chapter
Currently the Duffers and Netflix have not wanted to reveal previews of what will happen in the last group of episodes. The creators only confirmed the titles and the performers, despite countless questions, managed not to miss important details.
Fans, for example, have long wondered what will happen to the character played by Sadie Sink who, when last shown, was in a hospital bed in a coma after facing Vecna.
