The timing couldn't be worse. This Monday, December 16, 2024, when the RER E was to inaugurate its extension to Nanterre-la-Folie station, traffic was interrupted due to several incidents between Nanterre-la-Folie and Haussmann Saint-Lazare, indicates the SNCF on X.

Interruption until noon
This follows a passenger incident at Porte Maillot and a breakdown at the network manager's installations in Nanterre-la-Folie. Consequences: traffic is stopped in both directions and will be strongly disrupted on the rest of the line. It should be restored “at the beginning of the afternoon”, we learned Paris news to the director of line E.
THE trains of the Villiers-sur-Marne axis will be the terminus / departing from Magenta. Those on the Tournan and Chelles axis will terminate / depart from Haussmann Saint-Lazare.
Where possible, travelers are encouraged to change their route.
