Last night, PSG hosted OL and won with a score of 3-1. A match which was stopped for a few minutes due to insulting and discriminatory chants. The LFP disciplinary committee should come back to this.
Things happened last night at the Parc des Princes during the PSG-OL meeting. Goals (4), dangerous actions in spades and, less glorious, a stoppage of the match for a few minutes. A decision taken in the 54th minute by the referee, Mr. Benoît Bastien, who immediately invited the captains of the two teams, Achraf Hakimi and Corentin Tolisso.
The cause, as often in recent weeks, are insulting and discriminating chants launched from the Auteuil stand. Because if in the first period, already, we could hear “Lyonnais, Lyonnais we're you…” and the Park announcer had immediately reacted, the second act this time allowed the supporters to repeatedly shout other insults at towards the people of Lyon. The PSG captain therefore headed towards the stand without it having the slightest effect.
“A coach-player relationship”
The match finally resumed and Paris won. It is unlikely that the LFP disciplinary committee will avoid taking up the matter in the coming days. And that the Auteuil stand escapes a total or partial closure.
Furthermore, Ousmane Dembélé was candid about his relationship with Luis Enrique at a press conference:
“I still played the last matches (laughing), not a starter. But like he said, we're not brothers, he's not my dad, it's a coach-player relationship. I've known him for a little longer. We try to do everything so that PSG grows, wins titles, plays well and pleases everyone. »
