The championship goes to Lê Nguyên Thuy Duong (Group E – Hanoi), Nguyên Chân Hung (Group Z – Hanoi) and Chuong Gia Khanh (Group A1 – Binh Tân). In addition, we must mention the success of candidate Nguyên Tuân Duy – the youngest of group F – the group competing at a very high level with extremely high difficulty.
This was an “impressive” performance as Vietnamese candidates had to compete with 6,000 candidates from more than 30 countries around the world.
In the competition, contestants had to solve 200 arithmetic maths in just eight minutes, a process designed by UCMAS to test not only mathematical skills but also visual memory, concentration and overall academic achievement.
UCMAS Vietnam is part of the international UCMAS system with more than 80 countries. UCMAS Vietnam was established in 2008 and has participated in international competitions 15 times and won many important awards.
