More than 150 Direct Travel agents, head office staff and preferred suppliers celebrated the holiday season on December 9 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.
One of 16 events held across the country as part of the group’s holiday celebration, the gala dinner took place in the hotel’s legendary ballroom .
“This is an annual event for us,” said Stephen Smith, Direct Travel’s senior vice president of leisure strategy and marketing. “It’s a great opportunity to see friends and colleagues again and welcome new members to the team. » Also in attendance were senior executives from Direct Travel’s U.S. headquarters, including Gerard Bellino, President of Leisure Travel and John Coffman, Chief Financial Officer. Brian Robertson, President of Direct Travel in Canada, served as host and proved very popular when he announced the door prizes for preferred suppliers.
The grand prize, a system-wide pass for two on Air Canada, was won by a delighted Tina Ngotzaman.
Fifteen additional events have taken place or will take place shortly in cities as far west as Victoria and as far east as Montreal.
