A murder was committed in June 2022 at Mas de Mingue. A man in his thirties was shot and killed.
The investigation into a murder, committed in June 2022 at Mas de Mingue, has just experienced new developments this week with the placement in police custody of a suspect. A man whose name has not been released was questioned by the judicial police who were investigating the case. The victim was aged around thirty and died of fatal shootings on June 7, 2022. Emergency services intervened in vain to try to revive the victim who apparently had a criminal record.
For more than two years, the police have accumulated clues and charges which have led to the placement in police custody of a man in his forties. He would have been heard in Nîmes. At the end of the interrogations, the suspect was brought before an investigating judge of the interregional jurisdiction of Marseille (Jirs) where he was the subject of an indictment for assassination, we learned this Sunday from a judicial source. The investigators would have elements which made it possible to implicate a forty-year-old. He would strongly deny any involvement in the assassination. The suspect was imprisoned in accordance with the prosecution's orders.
Everyone is presumed innocent until justice has been finally served.
