The singer was a juror for four seasons (2004-2007), and she claims to have won a significant amount of money, particularly during her last season: “This is the last year of La Nouvelle Star. That was paid for in gold“, she confides. When asked to specify the amount, she adds: “Four and zeros behind it. Five zeros.” This remuneration was therefore around several hundred thousand euros. She also reveals that today, at The Voice, the jurors are paid even more generously: “They are paid double in The Voice“, she explains.

Despite much higher fees, Marianne James does not plan to join the jury of The Voice. “They don’t want us. This is not at all what we earn on M6“, she explains. She affirms that this refusal also seems to come from her own artistic demands.
