The last elements on yesterday’s double drama, these murders in Wormhout then in Loon-Plage.
Reminder of the facts. A man was shot dead in cold blood, in front of his family, around 3 p.m., in Wormhouton his home, this Saturday. The main suspect, a 22-year-old individual, then went for a currently unexplained reason to Loon-Plage.near the exile camp and the ECS company. Four people were killed there. The man, arriving on the road to Marckyck, crossed the road of two migrants, he stopped, then killed them. Then he attacked these two security guards, there too he shot themeach time with an automatic rifle. He finally went to the Ghyvelde gendarmerie. Several weapons were found in his car. He would have admitted the factshe was taken into custody. According to our information, he would have worked for the transport company of the first victim, a company based in Quaëdypre. He was also allegedly an employee of ECS.

Paul Dekeister, 29-year-old Wormhoutois.
Coldly shot dead in front of his home. Saturday, around 3 p.m., a man in a vehicle entered a farmhouse on the D37, in Wormhout. He gets out of his car with his hunting rifle and heads to the home of Paul, manager of the transport company Dekeister Frères, based in Quaëdypre. The father of the family is killed in front of his partner’s eyes. According to our information, he could be the shooter’s former employer. Many tributes have already been paid to the young business leader, very involved in the associative world, notably at the Motoclub du Littoral.
Two Kurdish migrants
After Wormhout, while the gendarmes are looking for him, the perpetrator heads towards Loon-Plage. On his way, he meets two migrants. He gets out of his vehicle and shoots them, again coldly. The two exiles quickly succumb to their wounds. In the camp, throughout the day, there was anxiety. No one to explain to them what was happening. All the exiles thought they were the targets, many of them tried to hide. The associations which usually help them have not been able to enter the camp, either to give them the usual foodstuffs, or to give them some explanations.

Once arrived at Loon-Plage, route de Mardyck, the mad shooter headed towards the two agents of the company ECS, responsible for monitoring the area, a subcontracting company of the port. They are there to support the police. Aurélien and Marc, two dunes agents, are not armed. They simply have their dog to defend themselves. Aurélien is also known to supervise certain carnival balls. Marc, for his part, a resident of Bourbourg, leaves behind his wife and children. According to our information, the shooter could also have worked at ECS in the past… ECS employees all gathered last night for their tribute.
